Trobada
Trobada is the word for “find” or “discovery” in Mallorquin. During a hot summer season I spend a month in an old traditional house in the countryside of Mallorca. During my trip, natural light played a central role in my days. I was particularly fascinated by the evening sunsets and moonlight every day.
I created the lamp during my artist residency at Villa Capri, where I found a shelf with materials that inspired me to create my work. It is constructed just by the materials I found on the spot.
