Inspired by the place Messejana, Portugal, my sculpture is a reference to the clotheslines that I encountered during my three-week Residency at Buinho. Instead of drying the laundry, the metal frame itself is covered with fabric that blows in the wind like freshly washed clothes. The materials I used all come from the village of Messejana: The fabric, the snail shells as well as the metal frame. In this way, the object reflects my experience of the place.
